# A Custom Pet Necklace Order Checklist Before Checkout
A personalized necklace asks for more decisions than an ordinary piece of jewelry. Before placing the order, pause long enough to make sure the product options and portrait instructions say what you intend.
1. Check the portrait count
Animorie’s current necklace supports one to three pet portraits. Select the number of pets that will appear on the finished piece—not the number of photographs you happen to upload.
2. Match one clear reference to each pet
Choose a main image that shows the eyes, muzzle, ears, and complete head shape. If you send supporting photographs, label them clearly so there is no uncertainty about which images belong to which animal.
3. Confirm the material
Review the live product options rather than relying on an older screenshot or blog post. The current choices are Premium Stainless Steel and 925 Sterling Silver. Make sure the selected option matches both your preference and the displayed price.
4. Review names and portrait notes
Names are optional, but spelling matters if you include them. Keep portrait notes specific and visible in the photograph: “keep the left ear folded” is more useful than “make her look happy” when the image shows a neutral expression.
5. Choose when to send the photo
If the product page offers Upload Now or Send After Checkout, make a deliberate selection. When sending later, follow the order instructions and include information that lets the team match the image to your purchase.
6. Allow for production and delivery
The piece is made after ordering. Current production is approximately 5–7 business days before dispatch; shipping time is additional. If the necklace is a gift, build in room for image questions and transit.
7. Read the final cart line
Before payment, verify the material, pet count, and photo-submission choice in the cart. If anything looks wrong, correct it before checkout or contact support@animorie.com.
